Live Stock Market Updates - Sensex slips more than 100 focuses; telecom, capital merchandise drag

A sum of 44 stocks enlisted a new 52-week high in exchanges today, while 10 stocks touched another 52-week low on the NSE. Some purchasing movement is found in auto, pharma and comsumer optional products and administrations divisions, while telecom, capital merchandise, saving money, metal, oil and gas, power,finance and FMCG segments are demonstrating shortcoming on BSE.


The Indian securities exchanges dropped into the negative zone in the wake of opening higher because of rise of crisp offering weight in framework, PSU, saving money and FMCG stocks in the midst of firm worldwide signs. The BSE Sensex opened higher by 90.71 focuses at 27,292.20 and the NSE Nifty opened up by 12.1 focuses at 8,350.

At 10:31 AM, the S&P BSE Sensex is exchanging at 27,092 down 109 focuses, while NSE Nifty is exchanging at 8,308 down 29 focuses.

The BSE Mid-top Index is exchanging up 0.34% at 11,908, while BSE Small-top Index is exchanging down 0.27% at 11,964.

Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Cipla, Lupin, Bajaj-Auto and PowerGrid are among the gainers, while Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, ONGC, Adani Ports, GAIL and L&T are losing sheen on BSE.

Some purchasing movement is found in auto, pharma and comsumer optional merchandise and administrations parts, while telecom, capital products, keeping money, metal, oil and gas, power,finance and FMCG segments are demonstrating shortcoming on BSE.

The INDIA VIX is up 0.88% at 15.4425. Out of 1,793 stocks exchanged on the NSE, 568 declined, 802 progressed and 423 stayed unaltered today.

The rupee opened lower by eight paise at 67.47/$ against US Dollar on Tuesday as against the past close of 67.39/$.

Asian markets are exchanging on a repressed note. Japan's Nikkei was down 0.39%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.80% and South Korea's Kospi lost 0.90% for each penny.

US markets shut lower as a drop in oil costs dragged down vitality offer. Oil costs fell more than $2 a barrel. The Dow Jones modern normal fell 0.13% to 17,895.88, the S&P 500 lost 0.09%, to 2,097.9 and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.36% to 4,876.81.


On the political front, Minister of Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad to introduce Digital Seva Kendras in New Delhi.
